What is Reformers Unanimous?
Reformers Unanimous is a Christ centered, faith based addictions program designed to direct the addicted back to God’s support group, the local church. Since it’s inception at Grace of Calvary Baptist Church, many people in Erie and the surrounding areas have came to know Christ as Savior and break free from the bondage of their addiction. Reformers Unanimous meets every Friday here at Grace of Calvary Baptist Church from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
RU is a nationwide faith based addictions program that is in over 600 churches in America with students meeting weekly. This ministry is available for you, your loved ones, or friends. We have a complete line of curriculum and training to help with every addiction, strong hold, or stubborn habit you may be facing. We invite you to come experience the difference of RU!
Children’s Program
Reformers Unanimous offers the RU Kid’s Club for children and teens, ages 4-14. They learn Bible stories, play games, make crafts, enjoy treats, and have a lot of fun! Reformers Unanimous offers clean, free-of-charge nurseries staffed by trained workers for children, age 3 and under
Meetings
This group meets each Friday night from 7:00-9:30. Each meeting is divided into three sessions:
- The first session involves hearing a Biblical challenge from RU’s founder, Steve Curington. This time is followed by a group prayer meeting and sharing of testimonies.
- The second session is a time in which men and women meet separately in smaller groups and discuss the overcoming of addictions in their own lives. It is a time of letting each person share what is on his own heart in seeking to live a victorious Christian life. There is a detailed curriculum for each member to follow.
- In the last session everyone comes together to listen to a challenge from God’s Word. Afterward, there is a time of fellowship.
Leadership Staff
Reformers Unanimous has its very own leadership staff of volunteers who are trained to work with you one on one or in group counseling.
